We are very excited about hosting a Northern Ballet Nutcracker workshop in advance of their production coming to Hull New Theatre. The Nutcracker workshop will be held at Elloughton Village Hall on Sunday 11th November 2018.
The workshop will be lead by a Northern Ballet dance artist and accompanied by a live musician.
The children will be divided in to groups based on ability level and age.
The workshop sessions include - warm-up introducing basic ballet technique, repertoire and creative work based on Northern Ballet's production of The Nutcracker, as performed on their latest tour and finally the session will finish with a cool down.
The children will gain age appropriate knowledge of the story and production as a whole.
This is an excellent and fun opportunity for the children!
Dancers will need to wear their RAD ballet Leotard and ballet tights for this event.
