Costume Ideas
The color palette is built around contrast. Elphaba's black and green against Glinda's pink and white. The Emerald City cast in greens and golds. Shiz University in institutional blues and grays with pops of personality.
Elphaba's transformation look, the black dress and pointed hat, is achievable on any budget. Start with a black leotard and layered black skirt, add a witch hat. Green face paint is the finishing touch.
Glinda needs to sparkle. A pink tutu with rhinestones, a tiara, and a wand make the character instantly recognisable. For ensemble Ozians, give everyone green-tinted accessories over neutral base costumes.
