ORIGINS DANCE FESTIVAL 2026

Smikle Dance Studio proudly presents ORIGINS Dance Festival 2026 – an inspiring celebration of community and creativity through dance.

Now in its fifth year, ORIGINS returns to The Old Market for an evening of vibrant, original performances. This much-loved annual event brings together local dancers of all ages, showcasing a powerful blend of energy, artistry, and heart.

Audiences will experience a diverse mixed bill of exciting new works created and performed by the acclaimed Smikle Youth Dance (SYD), younger dancers from Smikle Kids Academy, and a talented cast of community dancers from across Brighton & Hove. Expect fresh choreography, fearless performances, and an uplifting atmosphere that celebrates the passion, skill, and teamwork of this thriving local dance community.

Curated by Smikle Dance Studio founder and Artistic Director Lee Smikle, ORIGINS 2026 promises to be an unforgettable weekend that champions creativity, community and connection.
