Pompous phonetics professor Henry Higgins agrees to a wager that he can take a working class cockney flower girl of Covent Garden and transform her into someone who can pass for a cultured member of high society. This timeless classic features such memorable numbers as "On the Street Where You Live" ; " Get Me To the Church On Time" and of course the unforgettable "Wouldn't It Be Loverley".
The film version of this wonderful musical of course starred Rex Harrison as Henry Higgins and the immortal Audrey Hepburn as Eliza Doolittle and having only recently been re-released for stage performance is one not to be missed.
