Acerca de este evento

Fracured is the second chapter of gritty, emotional and thought-provoking work from award-winning documentary photographer Cameron Scott.

His black and white series is set in the Medical & Welfare Centre of Glasgow Street Aid, capturing the efforts of volunteer medical crews working on foot, at night, on the frontlines of Glasgow city centre. The exhibition also features work from other Scottish artists.

'I had the privilege of spending Saturday night in Glasgow city centre documenting the work of Glasgow Street Aid medical crews. They are medical professionals who volunteer their services to assist the vulnerable and distressed after hours. Their service and what they have achieved as a charity with very limited funding is nothing short of astonishing' - Cameron Scott on Glasgow Street Aid (2023)

About Glasgow Street Aid -

Glasgow Street Aid is an independent, pre-hospital specialist medical and welfare charity run by medical volunteers. Established in 2000, it helps to tackle the pressures on both the ambulance service and A&E departments by providing on-scene care in the city centre.
