We’re so excited to invite our competition parents to take part in this year’s Parents Dance for Ribby Hall! The theme is White Chicks, inspired by the iconic dance battle scene, which means the routine will be fun, entertaining, and full of humour. The focus is all about timing, character, and having a laugh rather than dance technique, with simple moves that make it perfect for everyone to get involved—no dance experience needed! The Parents Dance will be performed on the Saturday of Ribby Hall and is always such a fun part of the weekend, creating amazing memories for both parents and dancers alike. We’d love to get as many parents involved as possible and would especially love at least 1 or 2 dads to join in too! We need a minimum of 10–12 parents for this to go ahead, with rehearsals taking place on
Tuesdays 8:00pm–9:00pm on the following dates:
9th June
23rd June
7th July
21st July (with September dates still to be confirmed).
Due to teaching costs, we are asking for a small contribution of just £2 per session which can be paid upfront or each session. This is such a great opportunity to have fun, step out of your comfort zone, and be part of something really special—so we’d love for as many of you as possible to get involved!
