DGA Competition

Dear Members,

We are excited to announce that Derbyshire Gymnastics Academy's annual DGA Competition will be taking place on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September 2026!

This is a fantastic opportunity for all DGA members to showcase the skills they have been working on in class and enjoy a fun, friendly weekend of gymnastics.

Competition Schedule

Saturday 26th September - DGA Club Champs 2026

This competition is open to all recreational and squad gymnasts, including:

-General Gymnastics

-Pre-School

-FreeG

-Acro

-Cheer

-General Tumbling

-Artistic Squads (please see your coaches' post on ClassDojo)

-Tumbling Squads (please see your coaches' post on ClassDojo)

Saturday 26th September OR Sunday 27th September - DGA GFA Invitational 2026

This competition is for our General Competition Groups, including:

-Bears

-Tigers

-Pandas

-Koalas

-Elephants

-Unicorns

-Alpacas

Please note: This competition is compulsory for all General Competition gymnasts.

Competition Information

Times: The competition will run between 7:30am and 8:30pm on both days. Your gymnast will only be required for their allocated session time, which will be confirmed once entries have closed.

Entry Fee: £25 per child, per discipline (gymnasts who train in multiple disciplines may compete in multiple comps).

Payment Deadline: Friday 4th September 2026.

Payment Method: Please pay via Stage Stubs using the link below.

Apparatus

General Girls, General Competition Girls and Boys (under 8's) & Artistic Girls: Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor.

General Boys & General Competition Boys (8 years and over): Vault, Bars, Trampette and Floor.

General Tumbling: Track and Rebound.

FreeG, Cheer, Pre-School & Acro: Floor.

We hope as many of our gymnasts as possible will join us for what promises to be a fantastic weekend. It's always a great opportunity to build confidence, celebrate progress and have fun representing DGA.
