We don't believe dance should stop for the summer, so we are super excited to announce that we will be running another fabulous summer camp this year to keep our dancers moving over the break.
This year you can expect a range of fun workshops and activities lead by our GDA coaches as well as special guests.
What's on the schedule?
Day 1
Circus and aerial dance guest workshop
Group acro lifts and balance workshop
Commercial (street/hip hop) routines
Day 2
Bounce fitness and trampoline conditioning guest workshop
Technique, balance and flexibility training
Lyrical (slow) routines
Choreography skills workshop
Day 3
Star of the West End, Alice Read, leads workshops based on Hamilton and Moulin Rouge (all age appropriate)
Open gym
Individual acro workshop
....plus fun and games and so much more!
Summer camp will run from Tuesday 8th August to Thursday 10th August, with each day lasting from 9:30am - 2:30pm. All three days will be held at Pix Brook Academy. We kindly ask that all dancers bring plenty of water as well as their own packed lunch which must not include any foods that contain nuts. Non members are welcome and places are limited for each day.
