Headlining the show is Paul Mills with his highly regarded folk tribute show Simply Donovan, Dylan And Me . Since starting his tribute to Donovan and Dylan in late 2024.
Paul Mills will pay homage to two of the greatest folk singer of this generation namely Scottish troubadour Donovan and the legendary Bob Dylan and celebrates their musical careers live on stage. Mr Paul Mills will be Tangled Up In Dylan on this tour. Paul will dip in and out of the vast catalogue of the Nobel Prize winner, from his folk beginnings (Blowin’ in the Wind, The Times They Are A Changing through to his electric records (Like A Rolling Stone, Just Like A Woman) and beyond, taking inspiration from his tours with The Band (Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, Forever Young) and The Rolling Thunder Review (Tangled Up In Blue, The Hurricane), as well as paying homage to some of the most famous incarnations of Dylan’s work via The Byrds, Manfred Mann, George Harrison, and others. Also you get to hear his renditions of Donovan’s biggest hits such as Hurdy Gurdy Man, Catch The Wind, Jenifer Juniper, Colours, Sunshine Superman, Atlantis, Mellow Yellow.
An excellent night of entertainment is guaranteed at this Mayor of Tamworth’s Charity event, with Paul Mills fantastic Donovan, Dylan and Me set, and stalwarts of the Tamworth folk scene, The Anker Valley Boys who will perform their exclusive Irish set, which is a real foot stomper and great fun.
All monies raised will go to local Tamworth charities administered by Tamworth Borough Council.
