JOURNEY - A Musical Theatre Concert

In support of the Lingen Davies Sunflower Appeal with piano accompaniment by John Moore.

Phoenix Productions presents Journey, an evening of musical theatre storytelling performed live to grand piano accompaniment in the beautiful setting of the Maidment Music Hall, Shrewsbury School.

This is the first in a new series of concerts from Phoenix Productions, raising money for local charities, starting with the Lingen Davies Sunflower Appeal.

Featuring performers from across Shropshire, Journey moves through favourites from musical theatre history, including Guys and Dolls, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Hadestown and Everybody's Talking About Jamie. Linked together with narration, the programme mixes ballads with some of the more upbeat, lively numbers.

Your ticket includes a glass of fizz on arrival, with refreshments available throughout the evening. There will also be a raffle on the night, hosted by Lingen Davies, with all proceeds going to the Sunflower Appeal.

The Sunflower Appeal is Lingen Davies Cancer Support's campaign to build a new cancer centre at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, helping to bring cancer care closer to home for patients across the region.

A donation from every ticket sold will be made on behalf of Phoenix Productions to the Sunflower Appeal.
