Flo Production: Speak up Speak out

Speak Up, Speak Out follows a group of teenagers who stumble through a tear in the fabric of their universe and find themselves - literally themselves! These versions of them are from a place that looks almost like home but different in ways that take their breath away.

Here, children have a voice. A real one. Young people sit alongside adults in schools and governments, not as tokens, but as genuine decision-makers. Their ideas are respected and acted upon. When something feels unfair, students say so and people actually listen.

The teenagers are speechless. At home they had been taught, in a hundred quiet ways, that their opinions could wait. That sitting down and staying silent was just how things worked. But here, it wasn’t. When the way home finally reappears, they step back through, but they carry something with them. Not a souvenir, but a certainty. That things can be different, because they’ve seen it with their own eyes.

One by one, they begin to speak out. Like ripples across a pond, their courage spreads. Through classrooms, corridors and communities, proving that young people truly have the power to create a kinder and fairer world.

All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. The performance will begin promptly at 7:00pm, with auditorium doors opening at 6:30pm. Please arrive in good time to allow for ticket checks and seating. Late arrivals may be admitted at a suitable break in the performance.

For health and safety reasons, every audience member attending the performance must hold a valid ticket. Pushchairs and buggies are not permitted in the auditorium; a designated storage area will be available in the foyer. No photography or video recording is permitted due to safeguarding requirements. Mobile phones and other electronic devices must be switched off or set to silent throughout the performance.

Infants under 24 months may attend in arms only if secured in an approved front baby carrier due to tiered seating. If your infant requires their own seat, please purchase an Under 5s ticket.
