Folk Diva Vikki Clayton Folk ‘n’ Carols Special Christmas Concert

Back At Drayton Bassett Village Club, Tamworth for a very special festive show with folk diva Vikki Clayton of Fairport Convention fame.

Kicking off the night’s proceedings will be Paul Mills with his highly regarded folk themed tribute show Simply Donovan, Dylan and Me when he will pay homage to two of the greatest folk singers of this generation namely Scottish troubadour Donovan and the legendary Bob Dylan.

Then it’s Tina McBain, who of course can be described as another folk diva will be doing some of her favourite songs. Vikki will be showcasing material from her latest album “A Nice Frock, A Pair Of Slingbacks, and A Bottle Of Fizz - The Best Of Vikki Clayton. When it was released in May it spent 4 weeks at No 1 in the UK folk music download album chart. She will be also playing some songs from one of her most popular and biggest selling albums “It Suits Me Well - The Songs Of Sandy Denny”. She said “I love the build up to Christmas, the excitement and the anticipation of the big day. Also I love hearing children singing Christmas Carols on my doorstep. So a big part of the show at Drayton Bassett Village Club on Friday 11th December will be about me, Tina McBain and Paul Mills singing some of our favourite Christmas Carols like “Silent Night” “Oh Holy Night”, “ God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen“, “In The Bleak Mid Winter” and a whole lot more.”

This will be a fabulous night of folk and festive music it’s a tiny capacity with just room for 50 people seated so obviously it’s going to sell out so buying your tickets in advance is advisable.
